I am 75 and thought I would try C25K after over twenty years of not running at all. Weeks 1-2 were difficult but running and breathing is getting easier and I am actually looking forward to each run. I am taking my weight, BMI and blood pressure every week and they have all edged down a tiny bit. Fingers crossed!

Well done!!! If you rest well in between runs and run as slowly as you need to get your breathing in rhythm, you'll find it easier and easier. Wish you all the best for your future runs.

Maybe grey but not old, champion of the veteran runners I say. Those of us with a few years under our belt may be starting this late but we’re running away from old age with a grin . Good luck
