W4R1 - feeling elated

Yes, really am feeling elated as I had been very nervous about upping the running time to 5 minutes. Half way through I started to tell myself 'it's OK, you've not been well, you can stop early if you want' and then realised that this is just my mind playing tricks on me. The last 5 min run was a struggle and I'm sure I could have walked faster but I still jogged and got to the end. Off to work now feeling pleased as punch - go all you week 4 runners, we can do it!

Well done! Don't pay any attention to your sneaky mind's stories. Just listen to your body. I did this run today, also, and loved it. Enjoy, we've got two more! :)

Well done you too then. You're so right, the mind is a cunning devil , you would think it didn't want me to get fitter! Best of luck for runs 2 and 3.
