So Emotional after 1st session!!!

I can't quite believe it......I didn't think that I would manage the whole 30 mins (i thought 15 mins if I really pushed).

Wellllll drum roll..... I did the whole 30. I am so pleased.... I'm using a treadmill so I walked at 2.8 and jogged at 3.8.

It might not seem much, but I haven't done any real exercise for the best part of 30 years and now my meds. are really piling on the pounds and I thought I was too big to run.

It's amazing... my partner is so proud of me and I hope to stop sweating soon lol ( it's an hour after finishing the session and even after a shower I am still soaking wet)

Rest day tomorrow and I think I will need all of it just to re-hydrate ......

Thanks for reading my waffle I think my emotions are in overdrive lol

Well done...first session done..😊

A few stretches after your run while your muscles are still warm will help you feel less stiff tomorrow.

Good luck with W1 R2 after your rest day...😊

Well done it will amaze you how far you can go in just a few weeks when I got to week 5 and managed a 20 minute run I think that was the most running I’d done since I stopped playing football 17 years ago and when I weighed 7 stone less 😳 it really works and the help and encouragement of people on here is so valuable. Enjoy the rest day and I’d wager in 3 weeks you’ll be wishing there wasn’t one and wanting to run its addictive 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️

If you're emotional now be prepared for a few weeks time. You're going to have a grin like a Cheshire cat that will need surgery to remove.
