First Stint Done! Yey me :-)

So I’m now on my way home after a successful first C25K milestone! I was really surprised at how fast I could run during the fast stints and was actually expecting it to be more difficult than it was. I actually really enjoyed it! Really happy that I’ve done the first step. Will be back in the gym tomorrow at some point :-) Thanks for all of your support :-)

Welcome and well done.

There is no need to run fast at all. This programme is about building stamina and getting you safely to running for thirty minutes with minimal injury risk. Read this healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It also explains why, as a new runner, you have a rest day between runs. If you are in the gym tomorrow you will be better off doing some non impact cross training. I know the first weeks of the plan may look very easy to some, but the demands soon ramp up. Learning the discipline to follow a training plan is all part of becoming a runner.

Please listen to the advice given and slow down.

Thank you. I will take your advice and take it easy. Going to do some light yoga at home with my 3 year old tomorrow instead :-)

Well done on starting the programme. Don't forget rest days from running but enjoy other activity in the gym 👏
