So I went out today to complete week 2. Knees really hated the cold but they got through it. Every day I've been getting quicker (I'm very slow to start so not hard) but was pleasantly surprised that all my km times today were better than over ever done. Very happy

Getting faster is fine, as long as you can still hold a conversation, without gasping.
If you go too fast you are at greater injury risk, without significantly increasing your adaptive gains.
Well done on your run.

Forget time or speed...just do the runs... steady and slow! Well done you!
Well done for completing week two. I was so slow at that stage that I could walk faster. Ive speeded up without trying, and even when I make a conscious effort to go slowly, as in running down a steep slope, so I think the speed comes naturally without you needing to try.
