I am alive (kind of) - on IC with my back, some common cold, busy life that took over, and winter laziness.

I through a short jog here and there when I walk my dog (short = 200-400m).

I still love you all, and read most (some?) of your posts.

Enjoy your running! Speedy recovery for those who struggle like me!

Hi IgaT

Sorry to hear about your back issues and being on the couch – hope that you are on the mend very soon! I am on the armchair next to the couch, recovering from a sore hamstring. That is almost healed now, and as soon as I have shaken off the weird stomach virus I also have, I will be out there!

In the meantime, I stick two fingers up to winter and all the bl*&dy illnesses it brings and stops runners from running!

Get well soon.

Sadie-runs (just not at the moment) x

Get better as well! Hope we will be soon out there enjoying running again.

Armchairs are comfy :) Especially with good book or nice Netflix series ;)

Oooo, a back rub... Mmmm.... :) That's nice :)

Thanks for taking me for a run. I was last week in London walking by Hyde Park in the evening. And, oh my all the runners and cyclists, sooo many out there in cold (it was still the freezing weather) with happiness in their eyes :) I felt like I step in to my dream where everyone os running to motivate me and remind me during my IC break. It was sooo lovely. In my village there are only few of us.

My back is not so terribly painful, but it needs time and ease to heal. I felt in my life worse pain, so it's mostly constant annoying pain and sharp and horeibly painful.

Enjoy your day and 'our' run ;)

Yes best to rest up and be kind to your body. You'll be out again, but not before you are 100%! We will be here.

Just head out... maybe that could be the pick you up you need :)

I first need probably another couple of weeks of healing. I was told not to exercise, just walk. So the winter bear within me has not much to fight against and can fully take over :/

Oh dear... well take care, rest up and just enjoy those gentle walks ...:)

I can take you on a walk in the snow with me this morning ( no run for me..too snowy).. we will take it gently and just look around at everything:)

No snow in Oxfordshire, so for me is listening to the birds and searching for hard core leaves that are still holding their mother tree ;)

Sounds lovely! That reminds me of the last verse of one of my favourite poems, from when I was a child...

Edward Thomas's ...Adlestrop......

And for that minute a blackbird sang

Close by, and round him, mistier,

Farther and farther, all the birds

Of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

Also whoah what are those tags that have been added by the 'system'! This healthunlocked tag system is crazy...

OMG O_O as I've noticed with my first few posts in this forum, the tags are crazy, I stopped looking at them. But System 'choking'?! Seriously?! According to what algorithm you figure That out?
