I finally made it!! Wk9 completed!! What seemed like a truly impossible task at the beginning, has become a reality. It's taken around 12 weeks in all, due to the fact that life just gets in the way, but I've never not completed a run and i got there in the end. I decided to run the full 5k today and managed (what I consider to be) a respectable time of 32mins 49secs. Of course I wish I'd done it in the 30mins, but after struggling to run for 60secs at the beginning of this amazing programme, I'll take that!!
Good luck to all of you and trust me when I say, if I can do it, anyone can!!!
I'd also like to say a quick thank you to all of you inspirational runners on here, you have kept me going to the last, with all your posts.

Congratulations! Job well done. I remember it took me longer than 9 weeks too, and a couple of years to get a sub 30min 5k. Ha ha. It's more important to actually not be immobile on the couch I figure.
Thank you & I totally agree. My next goal is not to give up on the running, followed by improving on my 5k then maybe start to increase the Km slowly. Never thought I'd be saying this π€£
That's FANTASTIC Truepotato well deserved congratulations. Keep it up now and also your time is fab too, much quicker than I am, I'm a slow coach, lol π€£
Sorry if my post has come through twice, had probs with the submit button, haha π double the congratulations anyway, lol.
