I've done it!!- what now?

I completed my R3 W9 this morning! So pleased I started this plan and have been able to finish it with no hitches. It was a lovely crisp sunny morning and the run went really well. Sadly Laura abandoned me again but my Endomondo App let me know each time I'd completed a km and my time so I was able to judge when to stop. I did 4.73k in 30 minutes 5 seconds. I sort of wish I'd gone on and done the 5k. I think I could have done it. Never mind- something to aim for. I intend to keep running every other day - at the moment I can't see me wanting to run further but will aim for the 5k in 30 mins. What Apps or podcasts can other Graduates recommend to keep me motivated?

Congrats.

Do you have a local parkrun?

The nearest one is a 35 min drive away. I will give it a go though as it would be good to experience running with other people. I will also sign up for a Race for Life in the summer.

Congratulations!

I will follow your post, if you don't mind, as I will be completing the training plan hopefully this Sunday and I need to keep myself motivated :-)

Thank you

I have been stuck at about 5k for nearly a year after graduation but have been really rejuvenated by the Jeff Galloway easy 10k app. It's really good fun and there is someone telling you what to do just like Laura (which I missed). Oh and park run of course ! Happy running and massive congratulations.

Congratulations on completing. Decide what your objective is - is it running for fitness, or a particular distance / time, or to train for a particular event? People speak highly of the C25k+ podcasts. I am happy tootling along with runkeeper telling me my split time and pace every 0.5k whilst I gradually try to reCh my 5k objective.

Hi. I just want to keep fit and motivated to carry on with regular runs. I use the basic Endomondo App which tells me when I've run each k and my time so I will keep using that. I'd like to achieve the 5k although for now that will take longer than 30 mins- but that's ok!

Congratulations jenny on becoming a graduate runner. I've started the audio fuel C25K + and it's excellent. It gets you running to a beat and Laura's back with us again. 1234,1234 lol, but it works. I'm running 4miles in 40 minutes now :) J
