I did run 3 last night at 9.45pm, in the freezing cold. I put on my tracksuit over my long sleeved running top and tried to ignore my thumbs getting frost bite.
The sky was clear and the moon and stars shone down through the trees. It was beautiful!

Hi there, running twin! I did wk8r3 yesterday too - and boy was it cold! (Wore gloves for the first time, though took them off at the half-way mark when my hands had warmed up.) All the best for your next three runs - see you in wk9
Hi! I wish I could find someone local to do this with. I did think about gloves, but it would have only added to the fumbling I already have to do to get by LED torch out of my pocket for the unlit part of my route. I do find that my hands warm up quite nicely after about ten minutes anyway
My running gloves are from Karrimor and they're quite thin, actually; I find the 'warm up' walk the coldest bit - once I start running I warm up nicely after a few minutes. I wear a head torch on my bike for riding home in the winter and wouldn't be without one for the dark nights. Hope you manage to find a solution in Aldi
