Oh my goodness I can’t believe the end is in sight! Did run 1 this morning and only 5 runs until graduation!
I did a bit of online research as my legs have been feeling heavy and clunky and tried lacing my trainers differently and they felt so much better! Pace overall was about 15 seconds per km slower but I slowed down to be able to finish the 28 minutes which I did!
Looking forward to run 2!!

Well done! On these longer runs, I haven't been worried about my pace at all and have just gone "slow and steady" but then always try and speed it up for the last 3 minutes when I get a second wind from the feeling of the end being in sight. Apparently (from what I've read on here) post grad it's quite common to do 2 slow and steady runs a week and then just 1 where you really push yourself and go quick, and then from that your pace gradually improves. We'll soon find out I guess!
Well done - my pace naturally slowed down as i got on to the later runs, whether thats a tiredness thing, or consciously saving some energy to get to the end. Im sure over the months, that pace will pick back up in time, just enjoy it, your doing great
you are running further so you will end up being slower at first, until your legs become runner's legs... which I am reliably told is about a year post c25k....
You did it well done and so close to that podium now.
