Going for it!

Had a difficult day. Challenging students coupled with up and coming anniversary of losing my Dad tomorrow so was feeling a little sad. 😥 I could either sit in the couch and feel sorry for myself or get out there and get all my emotions out in the open air. So I hit the streets and put my heart and soul into it. Hit my fastest time yet. I think I needed to get rid of that energy and emotion. Feeling much better now and looking forward to a relaxing evening with my family 💙

Well done you for going out despite having an upcoming sad anniversary , sometimes the running is so good for clearing out your head. And it's often surprising how well you can run, even when in principle you think it shouldn't be. Thoughts with you for tomorrow.

Go you..it works...mostly.... I have used my runs to lose a Black Dog a few times:)

Hold the happy memories of your Dad... and I am glad you feel better... enjoy your evening :)

Well done for getting out, more and more I find running and exercise in general is the best therapy for problems and worries of all kinds.

Glad you have running in your life for tough times. I know how you feel - going for a run, getting some head space definitely helps me cope with loss. Your dad would be proud of you. x
