Week 8 and I'm rudolph

Hello C25Kers! On Friday, after my week 8 run and then a day at work, I cooked dinner and proceeded to climb into bed for the weekend, nourished only by the hot lemon water and cold sorbet that my partner brought to me to soothe my throat from all the coughs and gunk.

I only emerged yesterday morning when work required me again, so needless to say, I was nervous about my second week 8 run today. But i did it! And what's more, didn't even need the pile of tissues I had slapped on the treadmill, worried that my very red and scaley nose would pour out gunk.

Off to work now! (An unexpected consequence of longer running means I can get showered, hair and make up done in less than half an hour as a necessity since I have less and less time the longer I run!) Hope you're all doing well and feeling fine. Happy running

Had a fab graduation weekend(rest day Sunday with rubbish food & wine😬) but had a nice easy run at Run club last night and back on the healthier options for food this week!

Well done and glad to hear the lurgy hasn't stopped you. I did W8r2 last night, despite the sniffles.

Well done to you too! The end is in sight (or the beginning, depending on how you look at it...)

Well done - Thats some super-human lurgy defiance!

Well I figured getting the blood pumping and sweating can only help! Plus i think i had the worst of it over the weekend. I could not have walked 5m on sat/sun, let alone run for 28 minutes!

Well done!! Not long to go now!!

Well done Rudolph - you certainly come into your own at this time of year, just in time for all those 24th December deliveries, so I am relieved you're better!

Hopefully I can run for the full 30 minutes by then, as the stamina will come in handy for my running starts to launch the sleigh
