Set off at 6.45 for a 30 minute run. The pavement was glistening so took it steady. 5 minute warm up on a new route to include a few hills and keep me occupied with different views. After 5 minutes of running the icy cold air was hitting my throat and the wind was whistling in my ears. I didn’t think I’d get very far. However , after 10 mins I was at my happy pace and just kept on running. My legs were comfortable and my breathing was calm. I completed 4.96km including warmup and warm down walk. I’m just loving my runs at the moment. Feeling good. Good luck to all those running today 🙋🏻🙌🏻😃👏🏼🏃♂️
Bit chilly ❄️: Set off at 6.45 for a 30 minute... - Couch to 5K
Bit chilly ❄️
Very well done...You have had a great start to your day! You covered a great distance and in with hills too! Impressive!
I should have headed this morning, but the treacherous surface made it non-starter! Having fallen on black ice once before... I am a tad cautious I shall try for tomorrow!!
Have a super day
Well done TJ and those icy surfaces are a bit un nerving, couple of time yesterday I was like bambi on ice
That's great, go girl!!😄
Nicely done despite the weather... so have you got one of Oldfloss ’s famous buffs to keep your face warm whilst running? They are a revelation! In fact new web site coming up oldflossbuffs.com... 😜Brilliantly done and it’s fab you’re loving your runs
Thanks. I don’t have a buff as usually get so hot when running but now it’s getting colder I may have to get one. I have the trail band to cover my ears but could still hear the wind whistling. 😀
I cannot take the credit for this... ..it was one of our lovely forum friends, who was a massive support to me, and who gave me the nod for them, when I started out on my journey in 2015... Ullyrunner ... She has not posted for a while...but every time I wear my Buff... I think of her, with grateful thanks
Seriously one of the best running things I’ve ever bought. Thanks too Ullyrunner
