First off make sure you get you badge, you’ve earned it so should show it off.

Most of us consolidate at the 5k or 30 Minutes x 3 times a week, to get our running legs used to that level.

Then have a look at the bridge to 10k forum and there’s loads of ideas, in fact JuJu is setting up a 10k challenge, but it may be a bit soon for you

There are also some recommended apps for stamina and speed work, sorry cant recall the link., but you’ll find them there.

I didn’t like them, and they are a bit Marmiteish in appeal, others swear by them. I swore at them!

Either way enjoy that glorious glow of graduation success...

Consolidation.. for at least a few weeks...30 minute runs... and different routes and distances.. routes for pure pleasure and runs just to see where you end up!

C25K+ podcasts are really good for the discipline in our runs and are a lot more challenging than folk imagine.. many try them, just once and give up.. but they are useful for so many aspects of the continuation of the journey that C25K has just begun..

Then, there are Intervals and Strides... walk/runs.. all sorts and so many programmes to help advance you to 10K as and when , @ju-ju, one of our most awesome and respected runners and administrator on the site too.. has done a few 10K plans and has just begun another one... they are brilliant.

Thing is, do not be tempted to move onto 10K too quickly.. these new running legs need to carry on building up :)
