Really struggled with R2 of WK5 and the 8 min runs - felt disappointed after feeling super confident at the beginning of week 5 - it now seems a big leap to 20mins. I've kept to the programme so I guess I'll just put my faith in it. Other than going slow, any tips?

WK5 R3 eeek!

I'm running it tomorrow morning
Slow. Believe in yourself and the programme. You had your off day today so you will be great.
Well done. You will love Week 5 Run 3!
I think virtually everyone worries about the jump, but in reality, combining the 2 x 8 minute runs with the 5 minute walk, you have already done 21 minutes of vigarous activity, and this is only 20, so you will be fine. The programme does work, if I can do it, anyone can. Oh - and it goes without saying, slow is good. Slow is really good And if you feel tired, just slow down some more. It's all good, I promise.
As Hidden said, believe in the programme! And believe in yourself too. Can't wait to hear how it goes. You too minibear !

Some runs just do feel more of a struggle than others, but don't let that put you off. Go beautifully slow, gentle and relaxed and you will surprise yourself. 😃
Thanks Everyone I did it! A full 20mins! And while it wasn't easy, it was much easier than I expected and actually felt much better than the last run! Xxx
