Run 2 was hard enough! Lots of wind, the occasional hill and 8 minute running stretches. In previous weeks I've felt like I could definitely carry on running for a little longer but last night I was willing Laura to end the torture! I managed it, just. We'll see what the weekend brings with a 20 minute run....Good luck to all fellow week 5 runners!
Gearing up for wk5 r3...: Run 2 was hard enough... - Couch to 5K
Gearing up for wk5 r3...
Relax, take it slow, and 20 minutes will be up before you know where you are. Happy running for the weekend!
Blimey, you're doing well to cope with hills! I find it hard enough on the flat. Good luck with run 3, let us know how you get on.
I'm trying to decide whether or not to attempt W6R1 this morning, doesn't help that I had a cheeky midweek glass of wine or two last night :o(
You'll be fine - just take it slow and steady. The feeling of achievement after that run is amazing. If you haven't been bitten by the running bug by then you're usually hooked afterwards.
Look forward to seeing your post!
Yeay... we LOVE hills...don't we? There are so many around here, small, larger, steady slopes, sharp inclines.... aagh!! They appear when they see me coming
You are doing brilliantly.... against all odds...out there and getting there, even though your brain is telling you to stop!
Your next run will be fine; steady and slow, listen to Laura and you will do it. You are ready for this
Hope the wind drops for you too
