I’ve struggled a bit with the runs on week 6. I think it’s more mind over matter but should I go for the 3rd run a scary 25 minutes or repeat runs 1 and 2? Any advice appreciated.

Go forward or repeat ?

Go for it and trust the plan it will carry you through mind over matter believe you can can do it and you will. 🏃♀️👍
As long as you've been able to complete the previous runs, move onwards. Slowly but surely. The future runs aren't easy but they're not impossible. Believe in yourself and go forwards slowly. Wish you the very best.

Hi,
I found week 6 the hardest of all the plan! It's all in your mind you know? 😆 Trust in the plan.
Week 7 is better.

Just go forward. If you make it...woohoo, if not, you can try again. Don’t back out without trying and you know what, if you don’t worry about it and don’t take the pressure of’ I have to do this!’ , ‘ how will I do this?’ Etc. you will likely find that you will smash it! We have all been there and struggled same as you and made it and so will you. Go on, you’ve got this!
Go for it, but make a real effort to start slow. You can do it and you will feel great when you do.

Thanks for all your advice. Plan is to man up and give it a go wish me luck for Friday !

Well done. Read this. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

I'm stuck on Wk6Run3, and I have just been repeating it, and trying to get a little bit closer to the full 25 minutes each time. That is what I would suggest.

Everyone's different, but if my experience is anything to go by, I'd say go for it. I also found runs 1 & 2 tricky but in the end told myself I had nothing to lose by ploughing on. And did it! But if I hadn't, it wouldn't have mattered, because I'd have just kept trying till I did. Like always, just keep it slow & steady, believe in the programme & enjoy Good luck!
Yes that was my low point too. I couldn't face week 7 so I repeated week 6 then was ready to move on. If you aren't ready to move on be kind to yourself. Repeating a week is still keeping going and a lot better than 2 months ago. Don't beat yourself up about it.

I'd say go for it. Go out slow. Promise yourself a bubble bath on return no matter the outcome. Scary is only scary. Say you run 20 minutes, walk a minute, and run 5 minutes -- did you really get less of a workout? You can't fail on this program, so why not just try...
Go for it... Otherwise you will stay forever on the pesky Week 6! Its one that catches many of us out. Funniley enough loads of us found W7 bizarrely easier... Trust in your head and your running legs and you'll be fine, we promise!

Thank you to everyone who’s replied. This is the first post I’ve made and I feel incredibly supported and encouraged. Go me tomorrow!
