After doing the 20 mins last week I thought this run was going to be a doddle... wrong!!
That was a lot harder than I thought... started off too quick.... started to run out of puff, so slowed it down a bit and kept going.. took full advantage of the walking breaks to enjoy the park in it autumn glory..
I blame the quick start on my new t shirt!! Need to tame that bad boy !!

You’re doing really well!! Week 6 was quite tough! I’ve just finished it and started week 7 this morning at 5.30! ( I must be mad!!) Anyway it was really good! No walking breaks now but I found I just got into it more!! 😀
Thank you!!! I’m such a bad sleeper I don’t need to set an alarm!! My next run on Thursday will be a day light coastal path one! I’ve got into a wee routine! Think my new running socks from Aldi helped me today! 😂
Hey this was my nemesis run and it catches a few of us out. There’s something about the return to intervals, which catches you off guard. Love the tee and love the fact that you got the run done okay.
That run was a doozy for me too! Once I had that 20 min run under my belt, I was so grumpy about intervals and I found the running bits hard. Harrumph!
But ya did it, Tony, so well done! LOVE the t-shirt! 😀👏 Take the next one a tad slower, speedfreak!
Thanks Sadie, I found it harder to get going again after the walking sections... think just running is easier because you can just keep plodding!!
But I understand the need to build up stamina through the intervals and I will follow the program!!
Next one will be slower... just going to wear my black UA shirt...think the other runners in the park seeing me in that shirt are like REALLY!! As most of them fly past me ..!
Ha, it must have been the t-shirt Tony set you off like a rocket..lots of people have found this run tricky, it feels like it should be easy but still needs to be tackled in the usual way.😉
