Well the start of the next week. It was harder but not too bad. I don't think I'm breathing as the tip suggests which might help. Does anyone have any ideas? I was more frustrated by not being able to find the right week on my player! It felt as though I was running slower but that might be subjective. Anyway I'm carrying on one run at a time.

I've just finished the same run. Freezing cold to start.....lovely and warm to finish. I'm rubbish at breathing too! You're right though.....1 run at a time. Good luck!

Yes it was freezing. When I got back in the house it seemed so warm I thought the heating was on but it wasn't!

Well done, you did it.

The breathing advice is something that some can do at this stage, while a large proportion, myself included, found it was far too much to handle, so carried on just breathing as I always have.

Four years later, my breathing pattern has just about evolved into the recommendation, although I don't subscribe to the nose breathing.

Just do what you have been doing all your life, relax and carry on. If you still find breathing difficult, slow down.

Thank you. It is so reassuring to get advice from experienced runners.

Well done on completing your run. I couldn't sort breathing out for several weeks, which I found frustrating, until I stopped worrying about it. Slow and steady and you will get there 👍

I find it hard to do the breathing as they suggest. Ive found it helps to do a kind of circular breathing, like your breathing follows your footfalls in a kind of loop - hard to explain what I mean, but there is a definite pattern to it.
