Week2run1 done -dodging puddles

I missed yesterday as my mum was up and really missed it!

Started week 2 today in my new shiny trainers, new sports bra and and vest top. Think this helped me feel less self conscious, it occurred to me that the passers by have no clue if I had just started running or had been running for miles, which helped. I think was dreading the 90 seconds but it was fine actually with lots of puffing and panting.

Can anyone tell me if they do stretches before and after or not please? Obliging trainer picture attached ๐Ÿ˜Š

Love the shoes!

Personally, I don't do all the stretches, but I know some people do and swear by them. I just rely on the warm up walk to get going (probably not the best advice!).

Ah I thought that might be the case as my thinking was that they would encourage it if needed on the app. I did some stretches afterwards today but mostly as I like stretches. ๐Ÿ˜‚

wow ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I'm not a girlie girl but I just love those running shoes. They look like they would glow in the dark not to mention run on their own when you are too tired to put in the effort!!

Yes running on their own would be fabulous. I don't think

I have found that switch yet. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Sassy shoes... :) Love them.... :)

You did brilliantly, out there and doing it! Puffing and panting.. well that is just fine, as are the different shades of red our faces take on :)

I warm up very well, before setting out but not stretching specifically at all... :)

You just keep on doing what you are doing and keep it slow and steady :)

Warming up the whole five mins or even more is advisable. Stretching after keeps some of the aches and pains away, and is good for your muscles once they are warm and flexible.

Warming up just by the 5 minute walk or stretches too? I don't mind stretching so might do a few before I go out.
