Well I set off to do week4 run 3, a day late due to Edinburgh trip, but couldn't even manage the first 3 minutes! Dunno if it was the unhealthy diet over the last 3 days, or the 21 miles we walked, but everything from the waist down hurts. Will go out Tuesday morning for another try. If I make it, on to week 5, if not, I'll do week 4 again. Not happy right now tho

Don’t beat yourself up celebrate how far you’ve already come. Positive mental attitude we’ve all had a bad day or bad run. Just pick yourself up dust yourself off and focus on your next run. This blip will soon be a distant memory. If you put your mind to it you can and will achieve anything. Good luck 😀
Sorry to hear that you’re a bit down Lizzj . But hopefully after you have rested those sore legs and taken a day or two’s break you will be up and firing on all pistons again. Keep on with the programme, and don’t worry if you have to do some runs again, it makes it all the more enjoyable and worthwhile when you do hit your goal!
Reward yourself that it was still an achievement, you put on your gear and went out. You didn't allow all the excuses to beat you in to not going. You are still an achiever compared to all the couch sitters! Be kind to yourself if you've walked miles and have you actually had your rest day? I nearly faltered this week, I too am on week 4. With determination we will graduate
Hey not so bad, you gave it a go and if you haven’t taken your rest day, well that explains it all. Take your rest and try again Tuesday, no need to do the whole of the week runs again, just the one that didn’t work out.
And a 21 mile walk a little bit more than our requested 5 Minutes warm up and warm downs.
Tried again this morning. No problem with the first 2 run intervals, but not so good with the other 2. still getting cramp. Im probably dehydrated. So lots more fluids and keep doing this run till I can do it all.
