Final run abandoned 😩

Damn you Scottish weather!!! Got up and dressed ready to go out for my graduation run, left Home and slipped less than 100 yards from my front door. It’s absolutely freezing cold so the paths are slippy and I don’t fancy my chances of running on it if i can’t even walk safely. Need to try again later when it’s hopefully a few degrees warmer. Gutted 😢

Is there a grass route you can do perhaps? Recreation ground, football pitch etc?

There is a field across from me but it’s so uneven and full of dog 💩. I was all geared up for it but at the same time don’t want to land on the IC so close to the end. I’ll hopefully try again at lunchtime and see if it’s any better then x

No medals to be won, by slipping and hurting yourself, so it’s sensible to wait. Fingers crossed that the weather warms up, so you can get that bling later. Good luck!
