Just back from 10 days in Cyprus where I completed w7 and started w8. The scenery has been lovely - sparkly sea and blue skies - but have struggled a bit with getting too hot. Not going to be a problem now I’m back home! It’s 10 degrees colder now than before I went away!
What are people wearing to run in the cold? Should I start with layers and strip off mid run? Then have to tie things round my waist?? Help!

Cyprus, how lovely, you'll definitely feel the cold now. I'm wearing long sleeve running top and leggings, a hat (because I get bad earache from cold wind) and start with gloves but they come off.
Ooh lucky you we got back 4 weeks ago and I miss it!!
Layers IannodaTruffe mentioned his cold weather gear very recently. Also whilst having stuff around your waist is a pain ( happened to me this morning) most of us find it easier to strip off layers to get cooler than to try and run faster to get hotter. ...
Also number of layers varies depending on your own body thermometer too I guess. I’d recommend trying a test run with a couple of layers to see how warm/cold you feel particularly if like me you tend to run away from home and not always time your run to give you a nice 5 minute walk back to the house.
Thanks all, seems like we all have the same dilemmas! Will check out older posts also. Bought myself a lightweight jacket today and will see how it goes. W8r2 tomorrow!
