Well 2 runs to do and one of them is my first ever parkrun tomorrow. Sooo nervous as it’s not flat and through a wood. Doing it with hubby and friends one who is a volunteer so she’s gonna be behind everyone. I know I won’t run it in one go but just gonna take it steady as still aching from my long walk on weds. Why do I ache after a 6 mile hill walk more than a run!!!

Woohoooo what an achievement and I bet the parkrun will be fab fun and you wont care where it is. Legs aching more from 6 miles and hills? Clues are there :)))). Hills using different muscles I’m guessing and the distance so it’s about endurance...

Enjoy tomorrow and well done in advance :)

Thanks all well I failed. Found it so hard and thought the park run would be more fun. There were a lot of competitive people there that were lapping me so no I hated it. Only managed 3/4 of one lap out of 3 and walked the rest of the way. It was through a wood with lots of hill and hated it. Feel down but not out.
