9 weeks, 9 weeks! that's all it is since Chrissy_b123 and I started running, really just in readiness to do a Colour Run 5k for charity (It's ok, we'll be able to walk when we get too tired, we said) thinking we wouldn't be able to get to 5k.... get to it, as a crazy as it is we graduated, and are looking at stretching to 10k now!. But 2nd ParkRun today at Walsall Arboretum, and we decided to both run at our individual paces, my best 5k so far had been 28.29, but panted in today at 26.54!! I couldn't believe it, not bad I thought for an old guy like me. Chrissy_b123 posted her own PB too.... Cannot praise the ParkRuns enough, the people, the organisation, the atmosphere, the people, the people... If anyone is still unsure about doing one, do it!, it won't be your only one... Thanks guys, is it Saturday again yet?

Thanks for all the encouraging replies, which is another thing we love about this whole running thing, the encouragement and wishes you get from everybody, plus the added bonus that we are also getting fitter, fantastic.
