Not sure what happened today. I haven't failed on any of the previous runs but today I got to about 20 mins and couldn't go any further and started to walk.
I just felt it was too much and didn't want to continue.
My terrain is woody paths, country lanes, boggy conditions which makes it slower
I went out thinking only 5 more runs to do and came back still having to do 5 runs.
Would there be a problem going to do w8 / 3 (week 8 /1 didn't cause a problem) to keep on schedule. I was nearly there .....
I'm struggling with boredom so will change my music . I'm still not hugely motivated or enjoying it. I haven't got the running bug yet. I just want to graduate
Thanks

Personally I would repeat that run...... I had to quit CT5K last year due to injury but attempted the same run about 4 times before I admitted defeat.
Welcome! Up to you I'd say. You will probably be fine moving on. I usually run with an audio book or podcast and find that this reduces boredom and distracts me on longer runs The bug will come, I promise
Hi there, and a very warm welcome to you.
Personally I find the support and encouragement of this group on here invaluable, and I'm certain I couldn't have managed the program without that. Seeing other people doing well inspires you, and seeing other people struggling prompts you to encourage, both of which I think are great for igniting a bit of enthusiasm in your own runs.
Personally, I was a complete non-runner when I started, hated running, after my first run I thought what on earth am I doing? But pretty soon I posted on here, and got loads of advice and real encouragement which helped me through to graduation on Sunday. And you are really close to that, you can SO do this!
For me, I'm still not entirely sure I have the "bug" yet, but I do now enjoy running and even look forward to it.
I'm sure we'd all love to know how you get on, and don't be afraid to share your progress, even struggles. That's what we're here for.
You will get there. I had that on the run before last I only managed running 15 mins. I was running in fog and it all just got too much so I walked the rest. The next run was a different storey a ran the whole 28 mins. You get tough days and good days x
Well done for getting this far. I think I'd repeat the run just for piece of mind. As for getting bored, I found music made the time go slower as I was aware of the time every three or four minutes. I now listen to podcasts, and without the the frequent breaks between songs, time drifts by much more quickly. I also find that I forget I'm running because I get interested in what I'm listening to.
