I’m disappointed how little ground I cover! Anyone else not hitting 3k in 28 mins! I’m starting to question if I am actually running 😜

Of course you are running its not about speed or distance at this stage it’s keeping going to run continuously for 30mins. I never managed 5km in 30mins & i doubt i ever will😂but i go out & run for the feel good factor & health o & if i lose weight its a bonus😂Is your 3km just Running? As i looked back to my last years stats & i think i was just under 3k at hour stage! Speed & distance can be built up after graduation. Im doing program for second time &as i got out of the way of running so im still on w6 but at 28mins il check where i am. Keep going nearly on the podium👍🏃😊

Just run... try not to focus on distance...enjoy these longer runs, and use them to relax and begin to move with your happy pace. Focus on everything around you and the way your newly found running legs are working...think how far you have come and how, this wonderful journey is going to evolve.

And, evolve it will, after Graduation, you move on and the more you run, the distance and the speed, ( if you wish it) will come...:)

This is a great first part of the journey... why rush it:)

no need to worry about distance. Think back 8 weeks, could you have imagined running for 28 minutes or running for 3k? I certainly couldn't. I'm still a slow snail but generally a happy one!

Please don't worry. I've never managed to run 5k in 30 minutes. It's about getting out there. Your doing it be proud and the time doesn't matter x

Hiya I’m much the same hitting 4K with the warm up , run and slow down . But I sweat like mad and know I’ve exercised afterwards so must be doing some good 😀 I’m no slim Jim which don’t help but I’m trying and so far I’m in week 9 the end is in sight .xx

Thanks for your replies! I just looked at my local park run and can see I’ll clearly be last! My mate pointed out those still on the couch will be behind me ha
