I needed to do a run, we needed some veg so it was natural to go the long way round ,which is the run route anyway and stop early at the farm shop on the way back. Strength trading on the cool down walk home!
It was a lovely morning. But I was a bit breathless but ran on anyway thinking I would settle down soon. It did eventually and my stats showed why when I got back. I had started off too quickly. Whoops.
Is there an easy way to pace yourself? How do others do it?

multi-tasking; loving it. Sorry no advice about pacing- going out too fast is not a problem that I have No doubt others will have lots of good advice soon
I think.. "This is silly... I am moving far too quickly... far too old for speed.. slow down you silly old snail, you have another 7K to run".... me , talking to me, yesterday,, it worked
