Back on track!!!!! And then another catch :(

Given my recent 'run' of back luck, broken toe, suspected pulled groin muscle, I've just completed my first run, ok, I did 10 minutes just to test the water on Thursday.

Today, I felt good getting out of bed, no aches, pains, etc, threw my running gear on and headed for the treadmill.

I decided to listen to Laura again today so I didn't need to think about what I wanted to listen to music wise and the fact she tells you in 5 minute blocks means I could gauge how my groin and toe were feeling and how they were holding up.

10 minutes in, no issues, 15, no issues, 20, 25, then I had to slow a little, not due to either injury, a little gremlin I thought I'd expelled. 26 minutes, back up to slow and steady, 30 minutes completed with no other issues.

It felt soo good, a 30 minute jog I'd missed it sooooooooooo much!

But there's a catch, I have runs scheduled for Monday and Wednesday and then I am away for a 3 day intensive course, Thursday - Sunday, Monday I fly to Bergen for the week (the hotel has a treadmill so I'm ok there), come back on the Friday, Sunday fly to Barcelona, come back from there on the Friday/Saturday and then Fly to Finland on the Sunday for the week.

The running gear will be doing some travelling, I'm going to stick to the running as best I can, I'm not ditching it, I enjoy it too much.

2 weeks ago in Limerick I passed the test of ensuring I run before heading off to the office AND not eating/drinking too much but it is law that when in Ireland you have to drink a Guinness or two, honestly.
