Ok, I'll be honest, the first 8 minute run felt pretty good, noticeably longer than the previous 5 minute runs from Run1, but pretty good nonetheless. The second 8 minute run was much tougher. By the time the lovely Jo Whily told me I was halfway through, I felt ready to give up and walk. I slowed down and walked about 7 paces and then kicked myself up the arse and carried on running! What was I thinking?! I've not given up on any of the previous sessions, so I'm a bit annoyed with myself, but pleased I did the run. I had a fair walk home then, coupled with a nip into the charity shops where I picked up a lovely picture ๐ Might re-run this one on Sunday instead of doing Run3, I'm a bit worried that I will not be able to do it and start walking again ๐ฃ At least my picture is giving me some encouragement 'Remember to breathe!'
I ran with MapMyRun! Distance: 6.05km, time: 53:57, pace: 8:55min/km, speed: 6.73km/h.
Well done Snodi, whatโs 7 paces?! Nothing! You did 99.9% of it ๐ if itโs any help I had exactly the same problem. First 8 minutes was ok, the second nearly killed me but......Iโve just got back from running for 20 minutes solid and not one bit was as hard as that second 8 minute run! See how you feel but I think youโll be fine. If I can do it, hand on my heart, anyone can and that includes you missy! Awesome picture btw x
