I made a last minute decision to get out and try my final run last night. Whew! I made it and I've graduated! This app was perfect for me. I have never ever run (I'm 56 years old) and I have never been any type of athlete.
Someone told me about this app, I downloaded it and didn't do anything with it for a few months. Then I decided to try it. Thinking back, I couldn't run 2 minutes without stopping! And now, here I (and all of you out there) can (or will) run for 30 minutes!
Now, I am going to work on improving my time since I'm not exactly running a 10-minute mile.
Onward and upward everyone!

Yet another 56 year old here. Graduated in September and still running ( not as often as I should) can’t believe I took up running as I’m not sporty at all but really enjoy it . Keep running!!
Well done you it is a great feeling isn’t it! Get your graduation badge. I am a 57 year old who has never run before or gone to the gym and I am now doing both 3 times a week! Couldn’t run a minute in May without thinking I was going to collapse and now can run 5K! This app is fab and really works! I aim on doing a Parkrun as often as I can as well as I really enjoy pushing myself. Enjoy your graduation moment and keep on running xx
Virginia60, how do I get my badge? I didn't see this anywhere? And, I've been meaning to ask - what is a PARKRUN? I see everyone posts about a parkrun but I don't know what that is(?) Congrats to you too for sticking with it! Thank you!
Hi if you scroll down the page and click on pinned posts there is a heading their Graduation Badges and you leave a message and one of the administrators gives you a link. Parkrun is a free 5K run every Saturday morning at 9am all around the country. If you google it you should find one near to you. They are a good way of running for 5K with other runners. I really enjoy it even though there are far more faster runners than I! Have a go! xx
