Did the second run of week 3 today and it went quite well. My legs didn't feel quite so heavy and I really enjoyed myself. I can feel my motivation coming back now.

Good stuff - I started to enjoy it on Wk3 also then hit a bit of a stumbling block with shin pain. Hoping W4R2 tomorrow gets me back on track with enjoying it again. Keep it up!
Thanks for your support. I tend to repeat runs/weeks anyway as I find that suits me better and I'm more comfortable with that. I've read about your shin pain and feel your disappointment because you've been doing so well. I'm sure your W4R2 tomorrow will go well. Let us know how you get on. All the best.

Thank you. I am lucky in that I live on a marina next door to a country park and alongside the river. I have lots of paths in and around these places to run so it does add to the pleasure.

I finished the same run today too, still can't believe I actually did it as I struggled massively on W1.
Glad your run went well though! And it's great that you enjoy it... I'm not quite at that point yet!
I wonder if it's a case of the enjoyment creeps up on you. One day you suddenly realise that you are actually enjoying a run. I'm pleased your own run went well today. My next one is Thursday.
