Nope! The aim of the programme is to get you running for 30 min continuously. C25K is badly named. Once you have got to 30 minutes running, you can, if you choose, build on that to get to 5k. But again, not mandatory!

The aim is to be running for 30 minutes by the end. At your own comfortable pace.

AS GingerBohemian so elegantly put it, C25K is a bit of a misnomer. You will be running for 30minutes, and that's the magic. Many people complete the programme and then work towards getting closer to being able to run 5k. Just keep on doing what you're doing and we shall all be so proud of you when you complete week 9.
