Started week 6 today and I thought it would be a breeze with the walking rest in between. I actually found it hard!! I thought they may of put a 5 + 8 min run in with a rest so we could see how we have progressed by finding the shorter runs easy.

Perhaps I was tired or mentally was not prepared. Anyway got through it and waiting for Wednesday for start of the longer runs/jogs,bring it on.

  • Well done, you did it.

    I often warn people not to expect this to be easy. It is actually the longest continuous movement between warmup and cool down since you started. Everyone concentrates on the running sections and write off the brisk walk, but they contribute to the total effort and duration.
