Went out this morning for my penultimate C25K run. Following mediation Miss. Millican came with me and behaved herself today.
First 5 minutes were hard (as usual) as slightly uphill and then I got my rhythm and 10 minutes seem to come really quickly. Always welcome then came the half way bell and I turned around. I must have been a bit slower today as I hadn't quite reached the gates of the IDC; not far off but when I turned there was now quite a strong wind in my face and drizzly rain. Either it had just started or I hadn't even noticed it on the way out. 20 minutes and I'm now checking off my familiar route markers and then it's done the 30 minutes are up.
I've done it. Hooray. Friday wasn't a fluke. I really can run for 30 minutes. Not yet 5k but I'm OK with that. I'm hot, red and sweaty but Miss Millican is telling me she's off for a lie down. I did laugh.
Anyway home then for a stretch, shower, full English breakfast (Slimming World style) and big mug of coffee. Can't think of a better way to start my Sunday ;0)

Great effort, of course you can run for 30 minutes, we knew it, Sarah knew it and now you do too....
