Very early days, but really enjoying it. Trouble is today developed pain at base of left side of left leg, made the run pretty dreadful. Not sure what’s caused it, could be some heavy lifting I did yesterday but don’t want to put off my next run in two days. Any advice?

Assess the injury the day of your next run. If it still hurts go gently with it. It is better to put back a run for a couple of days then gain an injury and be off running for a couple of months. Take care Rfc x,.

No expert only just started but have read if it's a sharp pain as opposed to an ache it's better not to run.
