After my run on Sunday and a semi kick up the backside (and you know who you are) I went for a run tonight basically to see how long I had before it is to dark to be safe as long as l am out by 5:15 I am okay in 3 weeks time will be a different story away off I went said hello to one of the natives ( still a foreigner after 11 years) and off I went was only going to do 3km and done in 21:57 seconds started to walk home and meet same person I had meet earlier whose commented that I was now walking to which I replied that I did not want to peak to early. If I am back on tome on Thursday will do the same again.

Brilliant, well done!

Flashing arm bands... got to love the christmas tree look.... Aldi in the cycle section, 99p a pair. Can also be worn on the ankles. Apparently movement of the arm and leg gives drivers better clue that its a runner.

Hi-vis gear..... loads of places. Mountain Warehouse are free delivery until midnight tonight. But also you could try Decathlon, Sports Direct, Aldi, Lidl etc etc.

I really cant see you not running for the next three months or so , maybe you perhaps should get sorted runner🏃🏻😀

Nice suggestions however the way they drive round here would likely make me a target as tonight while running down the round facing the traffic a driver ( I will not name the sex) came pretty close and I have a fluorescent top and it was still daylight so they could see me so there was no excuse.

There is only one thing for it! Driving lessons and eye tests for the whole village!!!!!

Sounds difficult to sort then: one long weekend run at least.... day time. Can you run close to work anywhere once a week perhaps before coming home?

Is there anywhere close to home you could do a speed session once a week... doesnt matter if its a boring track if you are concentrating on intervals/ speed.....

Hopefully you can come up with some sort of solution 🤞🏼

Can you drive to a safe park? I have stopped running down the track at night because it's to dark to be safe and today I brought a fluorescent yellow top and head torch!

Another run done well done for being back out there...
