Wow. Was quiet apprehensive about starting the week with 25min run. The last week's have been building up to a big run at the end.
Loved it 😃 slow and steady as advised and could even speed up last few mins. Still finding the evil weed hard to quit tho but this has focused me more 😁

Well done! I'm stuck at this point currently, but it's probably my fault for messing with the programme.
I ran week 5 and did the 20-minute end to the week fairly easily in fact. I decided I wanted to do run 3 again before carrying on. I did it perfectly and then decided to carry on an extra 5 minutes to 25 minutes and ran just short of 5k (pretty annoying). I decided to skip week 6 to week 7 so I could continue my success with the longer runs, but I have just been hitting a brick wall now and can't get that 20 minutes constant running again.
Diagnosing the issue it seems my pace was way too fast as I was cutting a minute/km off my pace from previous weeks and as a result I injured my ankles a bit. I tried again today and struggled to keep going at the 17-minute mark so walked, but continued running for the last 5 minutes.
I think I am just going to keep hammering week 7 until I can do it. I'm pretty sure I'm almost there, just need to focus more on my breathing and mental resilience.
Well done on doing the run and who knows maybe the running will overtake the weed one day. ... good luck and happy running next time out
