Well I have put my name down to do the Retallack Rampage Run, I have signed up for the 7.5K Muddy run with over twenty obstacles, the only problem I have is that I now have a head cold which is preventing me from training, I have decided that when I can get back to running I will start the C25K from week 3 and do some cross country running.

If the cold is in your head you should be ok I have a head cold at the moment and it's making my ears go funny, dry throat, cough, runny nose but it seems better when I run i just stop and have a good blow occasionally

If it's on your chest then that's more problematic
