WK5 R2 DONE! So pleased with myself. Really can't believe the improvement since I started this journey. I know pride comes before a fall - but actually can't wait to challenge myself with 20 minutes next time. And to think I used to count every second of the 60 second runs in Week 1 😆

Haha - me too! I'll never forget that first 60 seconds in week 1 run 1, I was pleased with myself for doing the 5 minute walk without too many problems, boy was I in for a shock!

Huge congratulations on completing week 5. And I'm saying that in advance because I know you will :)

I've done W5R3 this morning, and loved it, you have actually trained for it, and the walking break in R2 doesn't actually do all that much I don't think, with hindsight. Please don't worry about it, just enjoy it, I'm sure you will.

Oh - and do let us all know how you did!!

Sounds reassuring. I'll be sure to let you know how I get on. There is no way I'll be keeping quiet if I do it!

We're all rooting for you! Just remember to pace yourself, that's the main thing, and also, the battle is mainly mental. All the best for the next run :)

Agreed about the walk break in R2. About half way through it I was impatient to start the second run, because it felt like I was slacking off!

Well done!

'Pride comes before a fall' ? Hmm, sounds like the sort of thing my headmistress used to say.. No evidence for it so BE PROUD

😂 that's really funny because I happen to be a headteacher! 😂

You must've gone to the same headmistress school!

Go for it! W5R3 has been my most exhilarating run so far (although only done W6R1 since!) and the feeling when you finish is fantastic. I was counting the seconds too the first week! It seems incredible to me what we can do now. Just don't go off too fast, I found the first 10 mins a bit harder than the last 10, once you get going it even becomes enjoyable!

Very well done...keep it slow and keep it steady as you move on :)

Brilliant achievement. I felt exactly the same this morning doing the same run and can't believe I'm looking forward to run 3. Look how far we have come, literally!

Pride comes before a really big cheesy grin actually. 😁

Keep it slow and then slow down a bit.

Shuffle along and enjoy the journey

Well done, I'm lined up for W5R2 on Thursday ...

I think it's funny how, although we are all at slightly different stages, we can all relate to the pain and suffering of week 1, Run for a minute, walk for 90 seconds ... repeat x 7 ... OMG

Once again ... congrats and well done ... terrific run ...

With that awesome attitude you’ve already done the run.

I did my w5r2 last night and I'm the same, can't help smiling to myself that I did it. I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow but I'll give it my best shot at 20 minutes! Let us know when you smash it 😊
