After a few weeks of feeling like I am continually very gradually improving, I’m Finding the runs this week hard. BUT it did occur to me that tonight I was telling myself ‘only 5 mins to go’ whereas a few weeks back I would have been counting down every bloomin second 😂. ⏱. 🧨

I had a big blip like that where for a couple of weeks every run seemed so hard. I was on the bridge to 10k plan and paused where I was rather than progress each week. The key us to keep going and don’t worry about it: it’ll come good again. I think there will always be good patches and other times when it feels really hard: it’s a test x

You are getting to be a better and stronger runner. Same advice to you as I took on board myself 2 days ago was slow right down and it helped so much . Good luck 😊

Thanks Buddy - I actually don’t think it’s possible to go any slower than I did for last 5 mins (and rest of of the run really was only a smidgen faster)!

It’s great when you think to yourself there’s only 5 minutes to go. A few weeks ago it would have killed you to run a minute. Going in the right direction and I’m sure one day, time will be merely a far distant memory 🏃‍♀️👍😎
