Wk5 run 1

Very busy day, no chance to run by the office so had to combine dog walk with my run. Ended up in the forestry late afternoon after work. Was dreading it but it was ok, even though it was hilly. I sort of felt I could run more.....first time I've felt like that. This morning I was so stressed by all I had to do, that I nearly gave up telling myself I didn't have time to commit to running, but in truth I think I had hit that dreaded wall. I thought about all of you on here and realised we all have busy lives and I was just being silly and to get on with it. I think I am starting to enjoy it!

  • Well done for managing a run after a busy day. Glad you are beginning to enjoy it! Is that a springer I spy?! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ•

  • Yes, my running buddies are my 15 month cocker spaniel (Floss) and my 9 month springer Charlie who came to me as a foster at 19 weeks, with back legs so bad he wasn't able to walk properly but after physio and gentle exercise he now runs with us too - oh and he never got to the adoption stage as I fell in love with him and kept him!

  • Spaniels are lovely but a but crazy at times! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Mr Squiggs, our three year old rescue springer is next to me on the couch at the moment ( flat on his back , legs in the air & snoring!!) ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜

  • Well done you... leave the day behind and just run :) Perfect :)

  • You star for getting beyond the wall! Mind over matter ๐Ÿ˜Š
