Yesterday I completely W2R2, and found W2R1 quite difficult but found it easier yesterday. Will be completely W2R3 tomorrow and had a look at W3R1 and it's 3 minutes, I am a bit worried as I don't think be able to do it as I've only just started feeling comfortable doing 1.5 minutes. How did everyone find this run after week 2?

Hi Lauren, it will be much better than you think! Each time there is a step up in the programme it will feel challenging , but if you take it slowly and keep going, you will surprise yourself and manage it. If not, then just think of it as a practice for the real run next time and repeat it until you can get through it. Good luck!
Hi Lauren, I too was worried, but the beauty of this programme is it actually seems to work, because in the times between runs you are developing new stronger muscle, and your stamina increases.
I'm quite sure you'll be fine, I was fine, and believe me I was really unfit!! Just take it nice and slow, the key is to make the pace sustainable. The goal of C25K by the way, is to run for 30 minutes, not actually 5k, so speed does not matter.
I know, if you have done the previous sessions, you can totally do this. All the best, and please do share on here how you're getting on.
Hi Lauren just did this myself this morning & I loved it 3 mins went quickly really I thought anyway , just take it slowly no need to rush you will be fine 😊
So far I have found every run 1 of every week really difficult - sometimes not completing the runs. But somehow run 2 and 3 are better. I guess as everyone says the program works. Facing W5 next week and I am sure I will again find it really difficult but if I look over my shoulder I know that each week is preparing me for the next.
Good luck with the next run - I found a stopwatch has helped me so that when I feel I cannot run anymore I can see how much time is left and will myself on to try a bit more and then a bit more!!
