Well it wasn't that temp in the Gym, but it was still hotter than being at home ....
I must have looked a right sight walking past the hotel pool with my running tights on and a running top, I just can't run in any old gear though...
So anyway, after the usual warm up walk it was the first run, 3 minutes .... wow, that got a right sweat going, managed the 3 minutes with no difficulty at all, the rest period was a shock, as they are half the run length now!!!! 90 seconds to recover before the first 5 minute run. Well the recovery soon passed, and I was away again, nice steady pace ... 5 minutes was up in no time... this was going well. Needed my towel though π, 2 and half minutes to recover and then repeat ...
Well, apart from losing a lot of fluid, sorry ladies, not very attractive, I know, the run went well, the last 5 minutes took a lot of effort to keep going and I welcomed the end like an old friend, but it's supposed to be tough at the end so that we develop... I'm going to say it was easier to complete than I thought it was going to be, just kept looking in the mirror and repeating my little mantra ... This is how I get to be the person I want to be ...
How do you get through your runs ... ?

Yes, come on in, the waters fine .... you can do this, you've done W3R3, this is not out of your reach ... come, just a little bit of effort, and if it gets tough, just slow down an it, you can do this, we can do this, together ... ππ
Thanks, it's taking some effort, but it's paying off as I progress up to the next week of runs... I get a lot of inspiration and support for you people on here, I think this would be a lot harder without the forum ...
No sure how well that would go down in the Gym ... π
Hey... you sound like me. I just did week 3 run 1 this morning and this run had sweat pouring off me. And you know what... I don't mind. Shows that we're working hard.
Mind you I'm one of those people who sweat alot anyway and so I'm used to it by now but I guess the longer runs are pushing us now.
