Week 3 Run 1 completed in the bloody hammering rain, bursting for a wee till it hurt! Felt I did rubbish tonight, those 3min runs felt like for ever. Crap ☹️

I had to come home without stretching so I could wee! Stretched afterwards though. Just had a text from running pal who stayed to stretch, apparently the coach slipped 4 min and 3 1/2 min runs into the mix ! No wonder it was tough!

Pee before running... rain is just wet.... slow down if it was hard... run done... Simple :)

Ahhhh but very well done for actually seeing it through and doing it, I think we all have crap runs that make us question what we're doing but then you'll go out and run again and it's all good.

Once again well done and give yourself a pat on the back

Needing a wee is the worst thing! Happened to me too - really zaps your concentration on the run cause all you think about is getting to the loo. Just think though - you did it! Next time will be easier because you want need the loo and this run is in the bag! 👍

I have a stopwatch on my watch and when the times went to 3 minutes I thought I can’t do this. Set the stopwatch so I could see how close I was to the time - kept me going when I wanted to stop as I could see - it’s only x seconds left. Now on week 4.

My week 1 was dreadful but I can see the gradual increases between weeks is designed to build stamina etc. It starts hard for me on run 1 but gradually eases through the week (a bit ;) )
