Since knee pain around W3, I've been running on grass - round rugby pitches and school play areas - all very flat. It was with trepidation that I tackled W7R3 on my hols in Spain. Ran on the roads and was surprised to be able to tackle the inclines. Perhaps it's easier to run on Tarmac compared to grass? I also completed W8R1 with no negative impact on my knees so all good. I may be on course to complete the programme before the end of my hols..... What a thing that would be - running 30 mins in the hills of a Spanish national park when I struggled to do W1 just a short time ago...!

Good for you and what a fabulous location to do your running.

Wow.... super location... and if it works for you... bring on those hills!

Amazing and what a great place to graduate. Grass can be softer and springier... but then too that requires very secure ankles for stability.

Glad no impact on your knees, you're doing very well indeed

Fabulous scenery for your running, and that really would be something if you complete week 9 there too. Good luck.
