Just checking in to say I started wk4 yesterday.... I didn't peek at what was coming before I ran, so when Jo Wiley said 5 minute run I literally shouted out loud!! Thankfully no none was in ear shot! Yes, it was tough and I feel very jaded and a little bit achey today. But I have rest day today and no work, so hopefully I'll be raring for Wk4 R2 tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great week πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

I like running in the rain!! It's only caught me once so far, but I found it invigorating!! I've bought a light weight jacket to wear in the event of βοΈ rain, but I don't like wearing it much! I guess as it gets colder I will wear it though! Why not try a little jogette in the rain.... you never know unless to you try it!! ππ
Looked at the weather last night and there was a window with no rain on the BBC weather app. Got up in time but window had moved!! Looked at the jackets yesterday when getting new running shoes but decided on a gentle spend approach for now looks like it is dry at lunchtime!! Mixed feelings - nervous about the first 5 minute run but excited about trying out new running shoes.
Go and run / skip / dance in the rain βοΈ !!!! You might just surprise yourself. I can't let the rain stop me. The weathers only going to go down hill from now onwards, so I don't need excuses to put me off running.
As you know, I had peeked at Wk4,R1 so I knew π I did mine Sat lunchtime and it was OK considering I usually go first thing, had eaten etc. My next one is tomorrow ...had 2 rest days because of stuff going on, so will be chomping at the bit π΄π΄
The five min run def had me puffing I recall thinking it was heaven to be told to walk again π¬..... it passes the program works keep it steady and breathe your doing fab πππΌββοΈπΆ
Thanks... I'm still not sure about the breathing bit.. I was definitely puffing yesterday!!! I kept telling myself slow and steady, but breathing was all over the place!
Best not to look at coming weeks as you doubt your own abilities. Once you are in amongst it then suddenly get told what to do it's amazing what you are capable of!
Can't recall exactly but I had Sarah millican telling me Breathe through the nose out through the mouth every 4 steps ... found myself counting and breathing made the time wizzzz π€
