New shoes with actual grip and new route today.
Man that was tough! Coming to the end of my first 5 minute run I felt great and then suddenly spotted one of the great British park institutions ahead - a hill with oddly lengthed steps cut in to it, uh-oh! I made it up them without breaking stride, but I thought my thighs were going to catch fire!
Barely recovered after the walk before the next 3 minute run but I pushed on and got through the full run without stopping to walk, feeling very chuffed with myself!
