Morning campers... just checking in on this lovely morning to let you know I'm just back from Run 1 of the soon to be world famous Aussie210K plan. First cab off the rank is an easy 30 minute run (you know, just like Week 9). Pleased to report that despite not enough sleep last night (I think we all need more of that stuff) and a bit of sore thigh (the 8K on Sunday was a bit tough) I managed the 30 minutes without much bother.
I did have to walk at one point for 30 seconds as my iPhone decided that it would switch to the kids playlist and start playing One Direction songs... I had to stop, throw my iPhone away, stomp on it and carry on...
All up a pace this morning of 6:30min/km (that's a 32:30 5K for those of you interested) and about spot on for me as an easy run with sore legs.
Two great things about today:
1) I reminded myself that I can run 30 minutes non-stop and actually had loads of energy left over at the end...
2) It's my birthday so now I can eat cake and open presents
