Woke this morning a little later than usual, feeling warm and with a blocked nose. Got my shorts, etc, on and headed for the treadmill, one nostril still blocked, the other running like Usain Bolt could ever do!
Mrs LeeU suggested I only walk today, 'Ok' was my reply but I couldn't help myself. W7R3 and Week 7 DONE, extra sweaty and still with a semi blocked nose, I'm grinning like I did on W5R3.
Psychologically I know I can do the runs, it's my body that's having a little bit of a hard time at the minute due to this bug.
Poached Egg with Avocado on Brown toast, then a shower I think.
Have a great weekend everybody, happy running!

I admit, the sound of it to start with, avocado on toast with poached egg, if I said it never appealed to me then that's an understatement but, after trying it, I totally love it, very filling and a very good start to the day.
Mrs LeeU had the stomach bug before I got it on Monday and she has had a running nose, feeling crap, etc for about 3-4 days now, I normally shift things pretty quickly, I'm hoping I'll be back to my usual self for Week 8 next week, if not, I'll just have to crack on and see how it goes.
Thanks, I'm loving the runs, even when they're heavy going like today, I know I couldn't have done this 7 weeks ago, saying I'm happy with my progress is the understatement of the decade.
I'm not counting the runs but I know my Garmin 735 isn't 7 more runs away, I'm aiming to finish on a Saturday, that was, I can pop straight over to the running shop and buy my treat for Graduating
Yummy..not the blocked nose.. the breakfast I had avocado on toast today too
Very well done you...make sure you take care of you though... you are your best piece of running equipment and we want to get you out there don't we ? x
I do my best, I definitely wouldn't run if I really felt bad, if I felt I couldn't do the distance then I'd settle for a shorter run or miss the day, I've gotten further quicker than I thought I would thanks you and all the others on here.
